I don't think that there is a connection between John Egan and Annie Macnamara's son Michael or any of his descendants.  But I recently attended the Egan clan Rally in Hobart, so will reach out to the members to see if any of them are connected in anyway to the Michael Egan of Emu Plains.  The next Egan Rally is to be held in Ireland in 2012, anyone with a connection to any Egan is always welcome to attend, just get in touch with Clan Egan here in Australia, regards Elizabethoz

elizabethoz Thank You, I see, which post you reponded to now.

There are some correlations in the age of Bridget and Michael who arrived in Port Adelaide on the Cheapside with those referenced on the tombstone in Murrumburrah.
Do you think there is any relationship between them ?

. Michael EGAN 35, wife Bridget 38, John 5, Michael 3, Mary A (baby) arrived Port Adelaide on 10-10-1849 on Cheapside from London. (Possibly the SA branch of the EGAN name)
3. Michael arriving on Abysinnian from Tipperary on Sept 20 1859. (Possibly the QLD branch of the EGAN name)
2. I have elimated Michael Egan aged 3 arrived aboard the Harry Lorrequer, on March 14, 1851. This family settled in Victoria.
