Has anyone placed the children of Moses Paul/Elizabeth Hyndman of Lisbreen, Co Antrim  in Kendall County, IL or Cook County, IL by 1860?

Could this couple be Moses Paul b. 1805 d. 1885 or 1900 married to an Elizabeth d. 27 Jan 1900 at Coreen with John McBride present?  John McBride spouse of Sarah Paul (possible daughter of Elizabeth).  Is there a source for Elizabeth's last name Hyndman?

Good that you found new possible birthyears for your Moses Paul.  That may help distinguish him from Moses Paul who's birthdate is calculated from the headstone at 1st Broughshane.  He remained in Antrim and died there.  The headstone has the date of death as 28 Nov 1900, 85 yrs. which sets him into 1805 for his birth.   Another source that was transcribed from the Death Registers for Broughshane has a Moses Paul d. 7 July 1885, aged 80.  That transcription has not be checked at PRONI.  Either way it seems he was born 1805. Wish I'd known to check the original sources as I was just at PRONI in July.

I am researching Moses Paul b. 1805 d. 28 Nov 1900 buried in First Broughshane Presbyterian Church.  Would like to know if the family history mentioned in earlier post contains any references to this Moses Paul.  One of his sons was Archibald Paul b. 1863 d. 12 Jun 1936 married to Margaret McClintock.  The marriage record of this Moses Paul names his father as Archibald Paul.  From other posts, it appears that a Moses Paul went to Canada and was born the same year as this man.  Has anyone sorted these men out?

Hi

This is a brief excerpt from a long family history written by one of my relatives in the 1930s.  It may be of help.

All the best
Christopher

Billy's daughter, Nancy Crawford (l8O3 - l809) married James Kernohan,
brother of John Crawford's first wife. She lived all her married life in
Legnagolly, Martinstown, Co. Antrim and died there. Nancy had five children:
Elizabeth, Margaret, Ann, Robert, William.

Ann died young. Robert never married. He died in America.

William married Ann Brown. They had no children and are both dead many years
ago. Elizabeth married John McClintock. They lived at "The Birney Hill" or
near there in the First Broughshane district anyway. Elizabeth died in 1911
aged 84 - born 1827.

The names of her children are:

Nancy, born 1848 married John Montgomery
James, born 1851
William, born 1854, married a Miss Paul.
Robert born 1856, married a Miss Paul also.
Ann born 1859, married Mr. McVicker
Martha, born 1861, married a Mr. Ross
Margaret, born 1864, married Archibald Paul.
Elizabeth, born 1867, unmarried.
