My great-great grandfather was Michael Briscoe, born in Dublin, 1861.
He can be found on the 1901 census living in Co Down, occupation is Coachbuilder.
He appears to have been living with his wife & children as a boarder with a family called Marshall who were Church of Ireland.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to locate him on the 1911 census as yet so not sure if this means he emigrated.
