Hi Pipz, I have the Sudbury's line back to a John Sudbury (b. abt 1520 in Whitechapels, London). His line was John (b. abt 1550), Christopher (b. abt 1574), Christopher (b. abt 1610), Edward (b. abt 1640 in Egmanton), Seth (b. 10/3/1666) m. Ann Herrat, Samuel (b. abt 1709) m. Mary Truswell, Mary Sudbury (b. abt 1757) m. Samuel Appleby (b. 1748).
I'm not certain of the source data, and as you can see some of the dates are approximate, however may help provide a link between London and Egmanton.
I am trying to trace the Appleby line in Egmanton back from Samuel Appleby (b.1748 Egmanton) m. Mary Sudbury. his father was Samuel Appleby who died 1777. Would you have any more details on the Appleby family and in particular Samuel's ancestors.
Many thanks
Jim
