Hi hmtsab75,

I have just read the message about corporal jack Whitten. I haven't been on this web site for a while, so didn't realise all the new information. I will try and get a picture of his name on war memorial  for you next time I am up in Whitehaven. Say hi to Cathie and Leslee for me.

Hi hmtsab 75, I have just had notification that you are looking at the Redmond family. Your great granddad Anthony Redmond is my Great Uncle. I wondering if you are related to Cathie, Leslee (Utah) and Jenn Redmond (Chicago)? I have been in contact with all 3 and I am getting information together about the Redmond's in the UK for them. If you are related please ask them for my email address and I will happly help you out with information and photos.

Thanks to the response everyone. Sorry i have not replied sooner work prevented me. The Redmonds and the Looneys came from Egremont in Cumbria. I think alot of them went to the US  and Utah and thats all I Know. I can now hopefully start to piece all the information together

Once again thank you for your effort
