Hi Alex, Great shot of the Waihemo Heritage Museum site at Palmerston. The backdrop of the Puketapu Summit really captures the essence of the town and the Museum. Also thanks for your help and insight on Monday as regards the various ways of sourcing 'Family History'  I have sent a request to the NZ Land Infomation for any title records that may be available for early Palmerston. Will let you know if they show up.      Cheers,  Chris.

Same here....I am searching for the location of a farm my GreatGrand parents had for approx 25 years back in the 1880........1905.....what a saga....have eventually located to Archives.govt.nz and each region has its own office....they suugest that you go and visit them with a digital camera to retain images of the info and maps and locations, they are not very keen in you being vague...you have to have some names and locations if possible.  I will let you know how it goes.    I used dunedin@archves.govt.nz
