Regarding your presumption that for Margaret McDonald (born Rafford 1817) + George Younie (born Rafford 1815)
'I checked all the Censuses from 1861 thru' 1881 and no children are shown on any of them, so I don't expect to hear from descendants!'
From the Land Sasines
14 Jan 1857 - George Younie residing at Charlestown Aberlour leased No. 55 on Plan of Barony of Charlestown Aberlour. Being part of lands of Allochy par Aberlour or Skeirdistown on Feuch by James Grant of Wester Elchies
23 Aug 1890 - George Younie - Farmer Tomlea Knockando gets No. 55 back again
6 Apr 1898 - George Younie transfers No. 55 to his son when he dies - his son is George Younie - Custom's Officer Cambus Stirling
As you know he never mentioned his son in his will
It may not be the same George although the dates seem to tie up
Andy
