Thanks very much for that. It was my confusion about the two Peter Le Prevosts that prompted me to post my original request. I probably didn't word it clearly enough but I was trying to establish which Peter married Nancy Sarre.
If anyone could check Peter's father's name by looking up their marriage 25Feb1861, The Greffe, Guernsey, I would be grateful.

Many thanks for your reply. Pierre/Peter is the only one I don't have baptism details for; only a birth date of 16Jun1839.
Evidence of his presence with the family can be seen in the 1841 census. As relationships aren't shown it is difficult to know for sure that he is a son. Other children of the family (Charles, Mary, Thomas, Nicolas and John) are present with their mother, Mary. Anglicisation (if that is a word) of the names can complicate matters. This is again shown in the 1851 census where Peter age 12 is living with his widowed mother Mary.
Since making my post I have had contact from other Le Prevost descendants and I am satisfied that there was a Peter/Pierre, son of Charles Le Prevost and Marie De La Mare, who married Nancy Sarre in 1861. One of their sons is Bonamy Le Prevost b1866 which might indicate that Peter is a brother of Jean Bonamy Le Prevost.
I have my tree on Genes Reunited. If you are a member I would be happy to allow you to see what I have.

First time on roots chat so please bear with me. Could someone check if Peter Le Prevost b c1839, St Pierre du Bois, Guernsey, married Nancy Sarre? Peter might have been baptised Pierre and was the youngest of 7 children of Charles Le Prevost and Marie De La Mare. I think it is him in 1861 census, St Peter in the Wood, married to Nancy + 5 day old daughter. Nancy appears to have a 4 year old son, John Dyke. Thanks, Jandah
