Hi That is interesting.
Does that mean an earlier post i wrote re, thinking our family name   Ethell ] originally came from Ethelred  is correct.

That means we would be related.

Hi Jacquie, The top page Dormont put re ethell family,Margaret ethell was my great grandmother, i think the Ethells you have maybe a different Ethell family and not related.regards paula

 emily was born emily colleen ethell. jessie ethell was married to roy mcnabb. as far as i know the name ethell came from king ethellred.also to do with the viking era and  also spanish ancestry

hi trevor,margaret ethell was my great grandmother,aunty jessie was my grandmothers sister. francis alice rosa was i think called aunty addie,married to my grandmothers brother and was very much liked by my grandmother.

emily ethell was my grandmother,she married an atkinson and had one son and a daughter,both deceased
