Thanks,

Hello,
I have my great-grandmother as living at Gleniffer, st Andrews road coventry on her marriage certificate (1917). I wonder whether anyone knows anything about the house. It does not appear on the 1911 census but appears in directories.  The man owing it a theodore Biggs also doesn't appear on the census.
Thanks.

Oxfordshire Lookup Requests / Request news articles and workhouse minutes
« on: Saturday 13 September 14 11:51 BST (UK)  »
Hi all,
Due to me living in Bristol I can't do this myself and have already paid for a lot so if someone could help that would be great.
My great-great grandmother had a baby in the workhouse 1899 her name Louisa Claridge she was 16. The minutes state that her grandmother was trying to file criminal proceedings against the father(George moss) . They were working at juniper hill cottisford. The minutes also state that they were to investigate the claims and report later. I haven't been able to look at any further minutes so there may be further mention of them later in the year - so if someone could check this for me.
Also I was wondering if it would be worth checking local newspapers to see whether the grandmother ever did get the case looked at. The child was my great grandmother and I have the birth certificate Dorothy Claridge 18th august 1899- she always said she was adopted but as her name never changed this is unlikely but again I wonder if the minutes may hold more info about the fate of the child.
Any ideas or help is greatly appreciated
Amy

The John I'm looking for marries an Ann in 1854, although there is the possibility that he married again, unfortunatly the only 1851 census i can find with him on he is alone and it says unmarried.
