Thanks for the reply.
John is not in my tree. I have come across a sailors log in my late Mother in Law's papers with his list of ships and dates of sailing. How she had this I have no idea but I thought I would try to find his family and return it to them. His DOB and place of birth is on it so I thought anyone researching him would start at Plymouth.

Hope this all makes sense!

Thank you for looking. The vicar didn't say how he got the information for me so I'll presume that this is the same one. I do a lot of presuming!!

Thanks

Cheshire Lookup Requests / Death in Malpas

I have been researching Dorothy Yates. She was born in Holt by Farndon as Dorothy Candeland in 1887 married and lived in Wallasey. Returned to Farndon to live after her Husbands death and was there until at least the middle 1960's. I contacted the vicar in Farndon who very kindly found out for me that she died in Malpas (although how she ended up there is anyones guess!)

How do I find out where she was buried in Malpas? any help gratefully received.

Hi William,

What a star you are! Thank you so much for all that work. I didn't realise that Mary had remarried so that's knocked down a big wall. I will presume that John was born or raised in Wales before they moved to Liverpool and that's where the Henllan comes into it.

Once again a big thank you

Morning William,

John Junior (think he had Daniel as a middle name) became a piano teacher/tuner and his Father was down as a tailor

I actually got on to the 1911 census for a short while anyway! One of the ancestors was born in Henllan Denbigh. Can anyone find him there for me please I would love to find his address? His name was John Davies b1864c and his parents were John from Abergele and Mary from Carmarthen.  I know...all good Welsh names and hundreds of them but Henllan appears to be quite small so here's hoping. He married in Liverpool later in life.

Thanks for any help
