I am a descendant of Mary Ann Shaw/ Charles Grant.

I am interested in the photo of Cleghorns store in Rocky River.

When was it taken and what Cleghorn owned/operated it?

Alexander Gwyder Cleghorn married Margaret Grant in 1897 Uralla.

I do not know the reason why her first name changed. I do know they are the same person. Neils death certificate lists Rebecca but Harriets lists Rachael.

I have a stack of infomation on all the Grants of Uralla. I do not feel comfortable using this mode of communication. I note that they do not wish email addresses posted on this web site. Do you feel comfortable sending me a contact number. I am assuming you live in NSW.

You are a descendant of Neil Grant (his brother).

You are right. Rebecca changed her name to Rachel.
