Hi all,
Im looking for the above person but going around in circles so thought i would ask for help. John Thomas Smith was born around 1884 in West Bromwich Staffordshire and he married Gertrude Annie Knight in 1907 in West Bromwich but he married under the name of Thomas Smith (transcription only), occupation Puddler. They had 3 children, Louisa born 1910 in West Bromwich, James Henry born 1914 in Monmouthshire (my line) and William Harold born 1917 in Monmouthshire. James and William were both baptised in Wales and the address was given as Woodside Terrace Monmouthshire. In 1911 he is down as Thomas Smith living on Brett Street Staffordshire with wife Gertrude, and 2 daughters. He died sometime between 1917 and 1920. Gertrude Annie his wife remarried as a widow in 1920 to Edward Boughton in Staffordshire. I cannot find John Thomas Smith before 1911, which is where i need the help, im not sure weather to look under the name John Thomas or Thomas Smith so another pair of eyes would be great. Thankyou in advance xx

Hi all,
I am looking for the above named person but not having any look at all. Alexander was married in 1940 to Elsie Hams in Swindon Wiltshire but before this date i cannot find any record for him anywhere. I have his death in Lincoln Lincolnshire in 1980 and his date of birth is given as 28 August 1911 but that is all i know. I know i will most likely have to get his marriage certificate to find his dads name but i thought i would give you guys a shot first to see what you can come up with. Any help appreciated in advance x

Hi all,
Unfortunatly i never had a response from the man in question, i left quite a few messages for him but sadly nothing came back. He was 90ish years old so i expect he thought it was maybe a scam or not genuine which i understand. My friends family just wanted him to know that he was never forgotten about and is still often talked about now x Sad story and i wish it had a different outcome but never mind x
