I managed to access the summary books on Ancestry yesterday and found the same as last posting, the records are indexed as xxx (where xxx is the street number), then Wylds Lane with any house name (eg 222 Wylds Lane Glenthorne)

Reviewing the birth certificate I now have it is very clear that the birth registration was falsified and then amended by statutory declaration ELEVEN years later and SEVEN amendments made changing what appeared as a "married parents event" into an illegitimate birth.

Am I right in saying there was a hospital near the western end of Wylds Lane.

Bowen is a name of interest but that is not on the certificate,

Electoral roll search @ Worcester records may reveal info, I need to get an earlier BC to the one I have just received as it has become clear that the birth records were falsified and not corrected for 11 years with all the annotations in the margin. Luckily I opted to send for the BC with the reference that was a printed entry on the GRO index although a manuscript entry also appears and that would not have given me the information I now have.

I'll have a look at old OS maps for any sign of Glenholm

Not so easy, searching Wylds Lane on Ancestry 1911 turns up a no no, on Findmypast Wylds Lane appears as a list of numbers and a few names including a pub, but not Glenholm unless it is one of those numbers which didn't require a name in the postal address.

Particularly interested if Glenholm has any connection to John Bowen & Sons builders (they built the Victorian law courts in Birmingham and other disntinguished buildings in the area including Rubery mental hospital)

Just received a birth certificate from the GRO. The birth actually took place at Glenholm, Wylds Lane, Worcester and I would be interested if any member can shed light on this address around 1905 and where would it have stood on the OS map etc. Any info on particular occupants 1901-1911 would be most welcome

1851 census ref H.O107/1993

William Cartwright appears as the 4th entry from the top on this census, William is aged 70 and born Knolton, Flintshire and resident at Tynllan, Moelfre (Llansilin)

Can anyone decipher what was written his the RELATION TO HEAD OF FAMILY COLUMN as it has been struck through making it difficult to read

I am seeking a death record / burial / cremation information in respect of a Margaret Mary Jones who died in the Adelaide area in 1980 and just maybe in Morphett Vale. She was born in 1914 so death age would be 66 +/- a year.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

My 2nd cousin emigrated to the Adelaide area of South Australia in 1967 when he was 14 years of age

He married in ? Morphett Vale / Adelaide to someone who had also emigrated from the Midlands with her family.

Can anyone please advise how I can find out their year / location of marriage etc
