New Zealand Completed Requests / Re: Henry (Roy) Fyfe and Thelma Fyfe

Hello, I have just found that Roy Fyfe was married to my gr-uncle's ex-wife Thelma Amelia nee Gallagher.  I have the information regarding Thelma prior to her marriage to "Roy" in Perth and prior to them going to NZ.  They were in Brisbane from around 1949, 1959.  My interest now is Thelma's son Francis Douglas Huntly, now Francis Douglas Fyfe.  In amongst the information you have received from New Zealand, did you happen to find anything about Frank Fyfe?  Because Frank has a half brother on his father's side, who is keen to find his brother.
Regards
Debra

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / LYSNAR 1851 census - Soho
« on: Friday 22 April 05 00:51 BST (UK)  »
Mary Lysnar of Parents George & Mary Ann Lysnar (goldsmith) married into my Huntly line in 1855.  I don't know where mary was living prior as her father went to America and died in 1851.  Only her brother George Lee Lysnar also goldsmith and sister Emma Lysnar were at her wedding at St George Hanover Square.  Could you find anything about her address in 1851 and also which of her siblings were still in London.  siblings names, John Robert, Edward, Henry, George Lee, Emma  and Mary.  They seem to have all travelled alot and went to America and New Zealand.  This will help me find others in my family I believe.

Widow Elizabeth Huntly engraver, stationer, printer of 74 New Bond Street, could you advise who is living with her at the 1851 census.

At this time widow Elizabeth HUNTLY engraver Stationer Printer of 74 New Bond Street was at this address.  I cannot find several of her sons, Thomas Johnson Huntly, George Huntly or William Huntly.  I know about most of the others.  Could you advise whether the boys were with her then.  I later found in 1870 death of Thomas Johnson Huntly as a carver & gilder at St Pancras.  Could you tell me who is with her in the 1841 census.  I believe the boys were sent to Bristol to be educated at George Pocock's Academy after their fathers death in 1832.

Hi I saw your messages and wondered if you had seen the attached web site.  I found it very useful for the same reason with my family of Huntly and Lysnar in London during a similar period.  It's easier if you know your way around London.  Good Luck
