Also wondering if the naming convention changed over the years which is why there are different formats?

Here is a link to the map

Antrim / Milltown Cemetery - how to apply plot information to map
« on: Monday 25 January 16 19:37 GMT (UK)  »
Hello - I found a very helpful map of Milltown Cemetery on another thread.  My issue now is to apply the plot details to the map.  For example, I have a plot identified as "Z-65-A"  Is this the "A" side of the cemetery, section 65 row Z?  Also have another:

Sexton's number: 8819
Registrar's number: 5
Latitude:  Wa
Longtitude: 58

Any ideas as to how I would find that plot too?  Thanks in advance.

The Ulster Historical Foundation has just released the following members only database: Milltown database of over 27,000 names covers the years 1869 to 1895.  I was fortunate enough to find 3 family members very quickly.

Thanks Gaffy!  My grandparents hadn't moved there yet BUT I did find the previous inhabitant.  The house was called Villa Nova (forgot that until I saw it on the list) and Thos. Ball was living there in 1918.  I will see where that info might take me :)

Down / Kinnegar Road, Holywood, early 1920s

Hi - my father's family lived on Kinnegar Road, Holywood sometime from 1920 until about 1926.  Does anyone have a street directory with this street for this timeframe?

My grandfather was John Crabbe but would be interested in the others on the street as well.  I would also appreciate a pointer to pictures of this place / era.   Thanks in advance!

Antrim Completed Look up Requests / Re: 602.5 Ormeau Road (Ormeau, Down)

Thanks Sonas!  Poking around a bit I found that 601 was a private residence and 602.1 was a list of the Sisters of Nazareth.  Then follows the lists of 'inmates'.

My relative had many relations in Belfast at the time but they must not have been capable of caring for him.  How very sad.

I have a relative showing in the 1901 census as an inmate at 602.5 Ormeau Road.  Does anyone know what kind of institution that would have been at that time?  Hospital?  Workhouse????

In the interim I did find my grand father's birth registration but would be interested in any information that you have about the family in Galway.
