Hi.  My Grandfather was Michael Thomas Cullen 1853 who married Margaret Jane Maulkin on  the 19th Sept. 1906.  My Mum Veronica Theresa was one of approx 12 kids.  Margaret Jane was C of E which as you can imagine did not go down well.  Mum and her sisters Lucy and Ada were sent to an orphanage
on the early death of their parents.  Let me know if you want info. and I will see if I can help.     Gerry
PS. I do have a copy of the marriage of Patrick and Kate in 1875

My Grandfather William Frederick Smith b 1854 committed suicide  on 8 Nov 1909 in York Road Battersea.   Is it possible to get a copy of the Coroners report or should I try the Local Papers for info. ?.  Thanks

I have been searching various Irish web sites for the marriage of my Great Grandparents Patrick Cullen 1861 Crumlin Dublin and Catherine Kate Coleman 1861 Crumlin, without any success.   Their first children James 1877, Catherine Ann 1878 and William Thomas 1879 were born in Ireland whilst my Grandfather Michael Thomas was born in Toxteth Park Liverpool in April 1885..   The family appears in the 1891 Census in Liverpool.  The 'Irish Foundation' website  showed nothing.  They were Catholics.   Any suggestions much appreceated.   Gerry Pople

It came as a surprise that my Grt Grandfather had committed suicide on the 8th Nov 1909 in Wandsworth London by 'shock following poisoning by oxalic acid'.   My Gran or Dad had never mentioned this[probably not surprising] and I have tried through the net to see if I could see a copy of the Coroners report of the 13th November, with no luck.   Any ideas of where I might look please ?     Gerry
