Thomas Platt died April 7, 1876 and is buried in Warrior Alabama; Jonah Platt died July 22, 1908 and is buried in Montevallo Alabama. Jonah's daughter Elizabeth Ann (Annie) married Joseph Yessick (from Bohemia) in AL. Their daughter Margaret (Maggie) married Loranzo (Ranzy) Blackburn. Maggie and Ranzy are my great grandparents. I was in the courthouse in Schuylkill Co and found the naturalization records saying they immigrated from Raubon, Denbyshire Wales.
In 1860 Johan was still in PA. Thomas and his wife Ann were in Chatham NC along with Benjamin, Thos, Hannah, Ann, & Harriet who were most certainly children of Jonah. I assume Jonah's wife may have died in PA. In 1870 they were in AL. I have never used this board so if I get lost please excuse me. nyes, they were all coal miners. I have photos of some gravestones and somewhere copies of photos from a Warrior AL book.
