I was in Montana in 2001 with my son. I wish we had made contact. I will let him know about this site if you don't mind. He is Robert Frisk> Daniel Frisk> Ray Frisk - married Nona Skelton>Alice Rafter Skelton -married Standford Walter Skelton.

I have some photo's but any more you may have would be wonderful. I did tons of genealogy on your family starting back in 1991. I have a Zip disk I can't access full of info from 10 years of research. I hope to recover the information some day.

Give me a bit of time, I also found the Zip disk and a disk that may contain more photos. I will have to find someone with a Zip drive and a floppy drive to access them though.

Tons of files on the Skelton family can be found at http://www.usgwarchives.org/mt/judithbasin/

I personally put a lot of it up, as I was the cooridinator of the county years ago. It seems after looking at the info that much of it is gone. But may still give you some leads.

The best of the photos are posted on my blog at...

Enjoy !

I will try to scan in some of the tons of other photos I have, but they are poor quality. They are just copies of copies on paper. Many are from newspaper articles in Judith Basin.

Reply 39 referred to Stanford W Skelton killed in an air crash in Alaska.

That was the beginning of my research into the family. When I found that grave stone in Anchorage. It took me months on end to type up all the stones there, many years ago. It is good to see pictures up now.

I started asking questions on how one of the older Skeltons got to Anchorage, when I had thought the only family there was my sons.

I know the feeling of being excited about finding new info. But I have contacted you with addresses of Skelton family members. No I have not got into my genealogy box yet. I will get into it as soon as I have a moment. Life is extremely busy here, the delay can not be helped.

I really don't appreciate the implication that I have not contacted you at all though.

Peace.

Thank you so much for the helpful hints.  I will have to dig through my genealogy crate and pictures. I researched this family greatly back in the 1990's. Since then I haven't done a great deal, life got in the way for a bit.

This is my sons family, his father is living, his grandfather Ray Frisk deceased in Anchorage. His grandmother Nona Skelton is living > Alice Rafter Skelton was Living in 2003. I am not much in contact with the family now except for my son.

But I do have tons of info on them somewhere. I have tons of pictures and such. I have a ZIP disk with all my original work from before 1997. I will have to see what I can find for you. I have massive amounts of info.
