Looking for any information on McDonnells - Thomas was my grandfather (as was my father), his father was Alexander.

Thomas married Esther Mc Gregor a flower seller in Grafton Street in 1928.

Hi, looking for anything on McDonnell married into Mc Gregors (White Friar Street), flower sellers 1928, also before that, McDonnell and Bridget Mc Grath - Walls Lane off Francis Street and Johns Street West.

Trying to find the pattern as why most boys were either Alexander or Thomas down the years, particularly Alexander (several generations)

Hi, I went in to Pearse Street Library and looked at their database re Westland Row birth, baptisms etc. There are lots of Deegans going back to early 1700's and living in general area of the church. Needs further work but I think there are connections.
