William Canty Brown was my 3 x Great Grandfather and I, together with other descendants, have spent years trying to find out where he came from. There is a possibility that his family lived in Wootton for over 50 years before he was born. I am currently looking into that possibility.
I have an extensive file on his descendants,both in this country and America, which I am willing to share. Maybe you could notice something, that we have missed.
