Thanks Very much for the info ....

Both of you. I think Hannah was the right mother I was looking for -

No idea if there is a connection with the Deex family of Little Oakley my Deeks were in Ardleigh around 1750 - a long way to go there still. Thanks all the same.

Greetings From Germany

Completed Census Requests / Re: 1861 1871 1891 Essex WILLIAMS

Hi Chris ...

Not sure that IS him ... He married Louisa BARTLETT from Harwich in 1873 ... perhaps they had already moved to Harwich - Him being a mariner / fisherman, he might not have been home on the night of the Census - bugger....

Thanks all the same Chris, very much appreciated

Hi again ...
as Jaq was so kind to give me the following information from the 1851 Census, I was wondering if SKS could do a followup for me for the years 1861 & 1871 Colchester and 1891 Harwich

here is the data from the 1851 Census:
WILLIAMS   FREDRIC   3   COLCHESTER   ESS   422   CCP
WILLIAMS   GEORGE   13   ST SAVIOURS   SRY   422   CCP
WILLIAMS   HANNAH   9   ST SAVIOURS   SRY   422   CCP
WILLIAMS   JAMES   5   COLCHESTER   ESS   422   CCP <- my ggg grandfather
WILLIAMS   MARY ANN   1   COLCHESTER   ESS   422   CCP
WILLIAMS   SARAH   40   CHRISTCHURCH   SRY   422   CCP
WILLIAMS   WILLIAM   14   ST SAVIOURS   SRY   422   CCP
WILLIAMS   WILLIAM   43   LONDON   MDX   422   CCP

It is James I am interested in mostly, and I know that his second name was Septimus - so if you can find anyhing on the above James & Family or even a different James S Williams I would be very greatful!!!

Thanks in advvance - you guys are doing a fantastic job on this site!!!!

sorry it took me so long to answer ...

seems to me the second family could actually be the one. One of James Sons names was Frederick, and I do know that this WILLIAMS family originally came from somewhere around Wales, so the father coming from London seems to fit in also ...

Thankyou very much for this information ... I will have to send in for his birthcertificate next, but at least I know where to start looking ...
William WILLIAMS ... golly, thats gonna be a hardnut!

greetings from Germany
