hi

yes i have that information and the photo i have has all those names in, but just cant fit them into my booth family.  although i have not done a lot on that side of the family for a long time, got bogged down with another line.  i know when i was a child we used to visit a family who lived on a farm in kinnerton, none of my relatives know anything about this, i do i remember the cows coming back for milking, the pigs etc and the farmers kitchen where there was always baking going on.  this would have been in the 1950.  i suppose i ought to look at the elctoral registers for later times to see if i can find any booths living in a farm.  i did ask my step dad [after my mother had passed away] why do we always wait until family members have passed on to start family history, and he said oh they were relatives of your mothers.  so perhaps i will start researching that side again.  i set up a partridge family tree group, which is my dads line and have got so many of our relatives on that side, also did dna.  so we have gathered so much information, newspaper cuttings, pictures.  regards stephanie

hi

do you know which booths these are.  my great great grannie was martha booth who lived in cheshire, she married wesley hooley.  i do for some reason have a very old photo of booth familys, with a ruth booth and malcom booth but could not fit them in, they were in my mothers bits and pieces, so must be something to do with our family.

hi kate another thought they were living in sandycroft, flintshire when they left.  my great grand mother was pregnant with her  fourth child, then she went on to have two more children with harry. one was elsie [who passed away recently] and norman who was killed by friendly fire in the netherlands.  regards steph

hi katie,

it is a very dark photo and he is so much older wearing a hat.  did not look very tall.  he went to canada with my great grandmother in 1917, she was edith vernon.  she left my great grand dad with the children.  i am in contact with my relatives over in now usa, although saying that they have gone a bit quiet at the moment, so i am a bit worried about them.  i will try and contact them again and ask what his job was.  i understood he was the gardner at my great grand dads house, but that might not be true and just being nasty that she ran off.  do you have any other information about the steele family as one of my relatives sent a lot of photos very old, and i have no idea who they are.  i will look for them and see if they mean anything to you.  steph

hi pauline

i know from a family bible that william partridge was married to a mary and had elizabeth baptised in meole brace shrewsbury in 1823 then caroline in 1826 in st marys.  however mary died in 1829, he married again in 1830 tomary wynn

it ws a relative that researched and he had found williams born in acton burnell in 1774 father thomas and mother sara, marrying first phoebe morris in church pulverbatch in 1799 etc etc.  it is so easy as you know to find ancestors to fit in.  [sounds good]

i did some research and a william being born in meole brace in 1774 but baptised in 1783 father john and mother mary.

because william died before the 1841 census there is no record of where he was born.  and of course mary the died before the census.

just was wondering how i could authenticate these lines.  are there parish records for mary elizabeths mother that would show where she was born.

hi,  i am not sure if could be right, but my great grand mother edith vernon who lived in cheshire and north wales left her husband wesley hooley and went to canada with a harry steele.  i do have photos of harry but know nothing about him.

would it be the same, although could be just a common name
