am glad u have found more on Ur grandad, if u need a hand give me a shout. I'll have to wait for the 1911 census for Alexander but there not available in Scotland till next march.

that's OK don't worry about it. :)my only concern would be that Maggie didn't tell her other children about Alexander, i wouldn't want to upset anyone but this mans information would be very helpful if he didint mind sharing it

hi Glenesk, i had a look throu my info and i only have a James and Maggie as George Anderson's parents but that's to far back, was young Maggie married to a James after Charles maybe?

Thank you both very much any help would be great, iam very grateful. i found my g grandad living with his granparents,George and Isabella wen he was 2 then nothing until he got marry ed wen he was living at waulkmill. my family say he was brought up by his dad but as i cant find his dad anywhere i am a little stuck.

Father: John Glenesk (farmer)
Who were married 11th December 1888 Lumphanan.

that wont be a problem i can get that information for u 2moro.

just a thought,my great grandad Alexander george Anderson was also illegitimate born 1899 to Maggie Anderson your grandmothers sister i think but i have Annie born in 1886 so not sure.Alexander was also living at Walkman farm Lumphanan when he married in 1932 i wonder if he was maybe living with Ur grandmother. he didn't live with his mother and she went off and married someone else.do you know anything about him?

hi, i just went and had a look for frank, and have come up with,Frank Reid Glenesk born 1890 in Aboyne.
i hope its the right one and that it helps, if it is him ur looking for i can get his parents names and his actual date of birth if u would like.

hello,i have been looking thou Scotland's people to find most of my information (not that i have alot) i couldnt find her on the 1901 census either but she had a baby in 1899 when she was 20 i think before she got married to a Charles rattray i don't think Ive spelt his name right as i cant make it out on the document.
i will pm u with my question.thank you for helping me. :)

yes that helps alot,i did not see the other children on the census therefore i wouldn't have known about them.
there is something iam rather stuck on with Maggie thou and i have no idea where to get the info i need.
because iam new to the site i have to post 3 posts before i can pm you,thank u for Ur reply.hope to keep in touch. rgds.
