Denbighshire Lookup Requests / 1841 Census Wrexham - LLOYD
« on: Wednesday 10 May 06 21:50 BST (UK)  »
Hello,
I read in previous postings that the 1841 Census for the Wrexham/Ruabon areas were destroyed or missing but that there is a census for the Town of Wrexham that is available.
If someone could look up a John LLOYD in the 1841 census I would be very grateful! The information I have is that he was the father of Mary Lloyd born 1820 and that his profession was "Smith" and that he was either born in or living in Wrexham (Wrecsam). I'm hoping to find out John's wife's name and whether he had any other children. His daughter Mary married John Roberts in 1844.
Thank you!

Lancashire Lookup Requests / 1861 Census Wigan or Blackrod - ECCLESTON
« on: Saturday 15 January 05 02:04 GMT (UK)  »
I am desperately trying to find a William ECCLESTON in the 1861 Census for Wigan or Blackrod.

The information I have for him comes from the 1871 census where he is listed as 13 yrs old and born Wigan.
In 1871 his parents are listed with a different surname - they are Hannah and Thomas Sharrock.  I am intrigued by this and would love to know who he was living with in 1861 - perhaps they aren't his natural parents. In 1871 his siblings also live with him and share his surname. Mary Eccleston is listed as 5 yrs old and born Blackrod and Henry Eccleston is listed as 9 years old and born Blackrod. So they moved to Blackrod sometime before 1862.

Thanks so much for any help!

Completed Census Requests / 1861 Census Denbighshire ECCLESTON
« on: Monday 22 November 04 03:27 GMT (UK)  »
Hello,
I would very much like information on Thomas ECCLESTON from the 1861 census for the Denbighshire. I believe he was born in Standish, Lancashire, England between the years of 1841 and 1844. So in 1861 he would be about 19 years old. He was a sinker of coal mines. He married Mary Ellen Roberts in 1865 in Wrexham Ruabon.
Trying to place him in 1861. Any leads or suggestions welcome.
Thank you!
Shelley

Hi,
I'm really hoping to find Thomas Eccleston in the Wigan Index of the 1861 Census. He was born in 1842-1844 period in Standish or the surrounding area. He would be about 19 in that year. His occupation was coal miner/sinker of coal mines.
Thank you for any help!

Denbighshire Lookup Requests / 1861 Ruabon/Wrexham/Wales ECCLESTON
« on: Friday 23 July 04 03:43 BST (UK)  »
Hello,
I am looking for any ECCLESTON family members that appear in the 1861 Census for the Ruabon, Wrexham, Wales area.

I know that Thomas Eccleston married Mary Ellen Roberts in 1865 in Ruabon and a John Eccleston married (?) in 1861 in the area.

I can't find the 1861 census for this area anywhere.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Shelley

Was wondering whether there is an 1861 Census for Ruabon/Wrexham area.
In particular I am looking for any ECCLESTON family members in that census for that area.
I know that Thomas Eccleston married Mary Ellen Roberts in 1865 in Ruabon and am hoping to find out more about the other Ecclestons.

Hello, I am looking for any information on the ECCLESTON family living in Radcliffe from 1880 through the early 1900s. I am hoping the 1881 census will show them.

The 1901 census shows them living at 246 Ainsworth Rd in Radcliffe.

The head of the family in 1880 was Thomas b. abt 1842 and he married Mary Ellen Roberts (from Ruabon Wales) in 1865. First indication they lived in Radcliffe was the birth of their child Louise in 1880 (previous children were born in Wales and Shropshire). I am also looking for Thomas's father, John.
