At Liverpool Archives they do have a timeline from 1940 upwards of what places were hit. Their are also the situation reports uner 352 BUI. These are incident sheets  of the Blitz as it happened. Also there is a bomb census down at the National Archives for Liverpool.

You could try looking in 1922/1921 Electoral Rolls for 21 Medlock Street available on Microfilm at Liverpool Museum. This will list everyone but it wont list Woman who are under 31 years age.

The only way to find a seaman at that time is crew lists which will be a long tedious job.

The marriage registers for St Michael in the City were destroyed during the air raids in World War Two, so the only way to get more information is to apply for the certificate.

Liverpool Record Office have Victuallers Licenses 347 JUS They are arrangeed by Address so you will have to search through them till you find the surname of your ancestor, they are available at

Dunes Way, Liverpool L5 9ZS. 24 hours notice is required and you have give them the Ref number of the document you wish to look at you can search the online catalogue at
