St Patrick's Church, Crossroads, Killygordon, is in the parish of Donaghmore. They keep records there which date back to around 1840.
Annette is the secretary there and works Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. I think the number is 074 9149194..
Good luck!

Donegal / Scanlon - Scanlan Aghaveagh, Ballybofey and Killygordon
« on: Friday 07 May 10 23:08 BST (UK)  »
I'm seeking information on Scanlons who lived in Aghaveagh, Glenmore (Glenfin) County Donegal.
My great, great grandfather Andrew Scanlon was born in Aghaveagh in the 1830's. He later moved to Ballybofey and worked on the Edenmore Estate and married Eleanor McMonagle of Sallywood, Killygordon.
Patrick, one of his sons, emigrated to America and was alive and in the Kansas area in the early 1940s.
I want to find out what happened to Patrick Scanlon. He was born in Killygordon circa May 24, 1863.
I also want to trace Andrew Scanlon's siblings who were born in Aghaveagh. I believe they owned a small shop there one time.

Donegal / Re: MANSFIELD... DONAGHMORE

I think there was a Captain Ralph Mansfield who owned an estate at Killygordon which is in the parish of Donaghmore.
However, he would have been an English native or planter I would imagine.
Hope this is of help
