Thank you. Tried to get the death registrations at the library but couldn't find them. It appeared that BC archives may have put the wrong numbers down so I couldn't find them. I am now moving and will be too far away to go back to the library. I appreciate all the help. I have looked for her final resting for almost 3 years.
Cheers

It's almost like she didn't want to be found.I did get an obit from an old newspaper for Gordon and there are a few names so I will be searching them. I would like to get a copy of her marriage cert.to see if there is any info on it that will help. She did have a daughter in the 20's.
Thank you for the info

« on: Sunday 23 January 11 04:55 GMT (UK)  »
Hello, I am trying to find where my grandmothers youngest sister died. She was born in ,Scotland to David and |Jeanie Shearer. Her name is Mary Chrsitie Shearer born june 8th,1894. She immigrated to Canada in 1913 and married a Donald Mcleod in Vancouver 1919. My sister seems to think she went back home at some point in time. I founda divorce paper dated 1932 In New Westminster B.C. Canada with Donald McLeod filing divorce,May as the respondent and a W.H.Gordon as a co-respondent. She could have married this man but I have been unable to locate this info. B.C. Vitals was unable to find the final divorce decree but on her marriage registration it says,"marriage disolved 1932 and then there is another date that says 1935. Can anyone help? Donald was born in Stornaway,Scotland abt.1882.  His parents names are Peter and Catherine. Mary was born in Paisley.
Very difficult to find her.  It appears that Mary died in 1951 because my grandmother had written down when her parents and siblings died. All Mary's says is august 1951.

Hello, was just thinking if William gairn Scot is your gr  granduncle then we would be distant cousins. Awesome. i have been finding more and more cousins over the last 6 months. With all the children the Scott families have had I knew i would find people out there somewhere. William Gairn Scott and Eliza had my granfather Charles and 11-12 others children. Over the years there are fewer and fewer. Talk to you soon. Char
