Hello,
I came across your posts whilst trying to find some pics of Heaton park for my dad. Since my son has been Manchester Uni he keeps referring to this park as he was stationed there for 4 or 5 weeks in 1943. I took him there on Sat. He was there with the RAF whilst he waited to be sent abroad and has told me one or tales about his short time there!
