Hi Whiteblazes

My ancestors also come from this village, but sorry not able to help with your family.
Agree with Hanes Teulu that Tyn Y Cae is next to Pen yr Allt.
Abodes on the other side being Maesmawr and a Bodior Farm

1841 and 1851 at Tyn y Cae, Rhoscolyn lived William Edwards and his wife Catherine
Are these your ancestors ?

Hi
I have two Francis Millner's on our family tree. I assume you are referring to the one born 1790 in Elton and died 1868 in Biggin. My records show that he married twice.
His first wife Mary Dane gave birth to four children and his second wife Mary Chatterton gave birth to a further eight children.
Unfortunately I have no record of a daughter called Thirza.
Do you have Thirza's birth details ?

Hi Carol
Unable to link into your Rowlands family.
However the 1841 Rhoscolyn census interestingly shows a John Rowlands aged 45 and his wife Margaret aged 40 living at Llety Bach with four young children - next door to an Elizabeth Prichard at Llety Mawr aged 70 (widowed). This Elizabeth Prichard in my opinion being the mother of our John Prichard who died at Llety in 1851.

Hi Carol
I assume that you are connecting with my initial investigation on this topic.
If so my information on this family is as follows.

The John Prichard (1804 - 1851) and Jane Owen (1815 - 1881) had at least six daughters as follows
Elizabeth (1836 - 1878)
Margaret (1838 - 1851) Birth Cert. shows born at Carna Mill, Llanfair yn Neubwll. Father John Prichard, Mother Jane Owen
Jane (1840 - 1851) Birth Cert. shows born at Tyn y Beudy, Llanfihangel yn Nhowyn. Father John Prichard, Mother Jane Owen
Mary (1843 - 1845) Birth Cert. shows born at Four Mile Bridge, Rhoscolyn. Father John Prichard, Mother Jane Owen
Mary (1846 - 1853) Birth Cert. shows born at Llety Mawr, Rhoscolyn. Father John Prichard, Mother Jane Owen
Elinor (1850 - 1911) Birth Certificate shows born 4th July 1850 at Llety, Rhoscolyn. Father John Prichard, Mother Jane Owen.

Elinor , my Great Grandmother married in Rhoscolyn in 1868 as Elinor Jones and named her father as John Jones.
Also Elizabeth, my Great Grandmother's older sister married in Rhoscolyn  in 1860 as Elizabeth Jones and named her father as John Jones.

So I agree that four children died between 1845 and 1853 - Must be the same family - but I am unable to connect to your Rowlands family

Hi Titch1 and welcome to Rootschat
The response to my original posting about the Hughes family of Cymyran has been overwhelming and helped me construct a comprehensive family tree on the Ancestry website. Would like to share this with you. Without repeating all the information on here- the correct process would be for us to communicate via the "Private Messaging" process offered by Rootschat. But for that to happen you need to have at least three postings.
Not sure how to proceed unless you complete another two postings or have access to the Ancestry website ?  Unless someone else can suggest an alternative.

Sorry - having problems with my computer,
continue...
Owen Jones's father John Jones completed his will on 14th Aug 1865 (ties in with Dragon T's death recording). Beneficiaries being your Owen Jones and his brother Daniel Jones.
Also mentioned are Owen Jones and his wife Mary - Grandparents of your Owen Jones. This Owen Jones having died approximately 1844.
Unsure as to whether we have a family connection or that my Grandfather found these documents at Tyddyn Hwrdd when he moved in ?

Hello Owen Thomas
Apologies for the late response to your post on your G.G.Grandfather Owen Jones.
I'm am in possession of a collection of legal documents relating to Tyddyn Hwrdd in Dwyran covering the period 1882 to 1902. The papers belonged to my late Grandfather Robert Thomas Owen who seems to have either inherited or purchased Tyddyn Hwrdd in the early 1900's.
These papers are a mixture of Wills and Indentures (which I believe are loan aggreements).
These papers ramble on and on and far to lengthy to incorporate here but do include the fact that Owen Jones's father John Owen wrote his will on 14th August 1865 - this ties in with D
