Re BRUNTON /NOTMAN
 I have copy of Birth Certificate for Janet Noman 1795 Born   Newlands Jan 10th Father Robert Tenant in Castlelaw.
I also have Copy of Marriage Certificate 8/6/1821 Peebles
William Brunton,Ploughman,at( Kerfields??) and Janet Notman Servantto Mr Aitchison in Herfield gave in their names to be proclaimed in church on pupose for marriage once on Sunday 27th and twice on Sunday 3rd after being regularly -------??they were married on 8th June 1821 by Rev Duncan Stalker.
I hope that this Helps fellow friends researching Notmans.
No record yet of any Family can anyone Please Help.

Hope you are checking through here, noticed your interest in Brunton/Notman.  Came across this the other day (while searching for my lot) maybe of use to you then of course you may already have all of it.

William Brunton born c1798 died pre 1851, married Janet Notman 1821 in Peebles, she died 1855.

They had 2 children in Peebles then moved to Colinton. Then to St Cuthberts where children 4,5,6, & 7 were born bteween 1825 & 1832.  Don't know what happened to child 3!!!

Hello I am also searching Notman tree and found Robert Notman who was my Grt Grt Grt Grandfather Married to Marrion Thorburn they Had nine Children Have traced all apart from Janet Walter and Adam.
I would be gratefull for any updates on Notman Family.
I am Willing to share any records I have with you.

I found rootschat on my computer and read a message from krtbracken  she was asking about her grt grandfather RALPH BOUSFIELD .
I have the same Grt Grandfather in my Family tree.
how can I contact her please ??
help would be much appreciated as i have a lot of information about the daughter of Ralph.
