an
 annie hunt wed sherard  tomlinson in 1901.they had one child called sherard. annie had one daughter
called amy prior to marrying sherard  he could well have been amy father she was born in 1900.
after sherard died 1903,sherard and amy were taken to canada by annies parents thomas hunt
and caroline haigh about1905 they are in the 1901 census running a pub in wakefield. both amy and sherard later married,  amy at 16 to george hoskins. sherard married helen alice atkinson,they all lived in ontario i believe   in wentworth.if annie went to canada i do not know, do you have any idea.
did you know there 4  sherard tomlinsons. grandfather1847,father1871,grandson1902 who went to toronto.the otherwas born1912 to john tomlinson and ivy cone. john tomlinson was the third son of the first sherard born 1847

go to coalmining accidents and deaths then enter james clifft, a list of names comes up clifft james, at the top, click on clifft james,it gives you details of accident and year of death. there used to be a
stan clifft and his sister ena who lived in mulberry place. they would be about 85 and 83 if they are still alive,they could be relatives of james. go on internet put in ryhill main well worth looking at.
ryhill main closed about 1926

 there was a netherfield baptist church at penistone,still standing but has been converted into flats
you can view it on the internet,barnsley archives have the burial records. they have checked the
records and found the following record 102 rachel hinchliffe date of burial 2 11 1920,   28 towngate thurlstone. there are still some gravestones in the grounds. the email address for the archives is

hello heywood  i have george poole marriage certificate january 1875 he is listed as 20yrs old but i think he was probably nearer to eighteen, his wife emily nee brown remarried in 1879 to a john boydon,  on the 1881 census emily boydon is living at liversedge  in the bradford district.   tramroad

hi madri i have george poole birth certificate it is george pole born tan yard dodworth barnsley 1858 mother elizabeth spilsbury father thomas which all ties in, he definately died ,i am sure between 1875-1879
  as i said before is wife,  remarried 1879 then again in 1791.  i shall look into your suggestion about george e poole who died aged 81.  tramroad

hi madri thanks for reply i am sure george died between 1875-1879 i will go on ancestry family trees and see if i can find any thing,have already tried a couple of trees but will try somemore.
