Hi Sandra. I note the Article is dated 29 March 1873 but the trial was set 7 March 1863. Was he acquitted after 10 years in prison?…….interesting. Regards

Hi Sandra. That’s a great find, yes I’m sure it’s the right George Dronfield? In 1881 Matthew Gregory was boarding with Ann & family (no George) so wondering if Ann divorced George & set up with Matthew after George went to prison and married him in 1890. Many thanks

That’s interesting…then I’m assuming Peggy was born under the care of a midwife at 92 Balcombe Street and then moved as a nurse child under Louise Battell. Can I ask was there an address shown on the 1921 for Peggy with Louise Battell? ( have not got full copy) Many thanks
