Lanarkshire / Looking for Helen Lawson Sweeney nee Thomson burial plot

Hoping some of you kind people out there will be able to help me.

I am looking for my late grandmother Helen Lawson Sweeney nee Thomson. She was born in 1931 and died on 21st January 1950. She married my grandfather, Philip Sweeney in 1948 and had a son born in April 1949. She caught tuberculosis and died when her son was only 9 months old. She died at Robroyston Hospital. There are two addresses on her death certificate Kirkpatrick Street, Glasgow and Gailes Street, Glasgow.
My father was taken into a boys home after her death so knows nothing about where she was buried.
I am really unsure where to go from here as I do not live in Scotland, so cannot visit any places that hold the records.

I would be very grateful if anyone can point me in the right direction as to where to go from here.
