Thank you very much for enhancing this photo. My great-grandmother was a  skilled seamstress, so I assume she made the 4 girls' clothing. I had not actually noticed the bare feet before. That's my maternal grandmother, the older girl on the right. She too liked to sew.

Hello RJ137,

Thank you very much for the three versions of my old photo from around 1903. It was a great idea to make a black and white copy besides the two sepias, The faces and other details are now more distinct and clear. The two youngest girls are much improved.

Hello Japeflakes,

Thank you very much for enhancing the photo of my great-grandmother and five of her children, including my maternal grandmother Regina on the right in the dark dress.
I note with gratitude that the faces are now more defined and clear and that my great-grandmother's skirt now exhibits texture that was formerly a blur.

A big improvement overall!

This photo was taken in about 1905. It shows my great-grandmother Cordelia Leduc seated with four of her children including my maternal grandmother Regina.

Free Photo Restoration & Date Old Photographs / Question about uploading a photo
« on: Saturday 14 September 24 21:09 BST (UK)  »
Hello,

For some reason I can't see how to upload an old photo of Irish ancestors that I would like to have enhanced. How do I do it? Thanks.

Tim Scanlan

The photo shows my great-grandfather Timothy Scanlan of the left next to my grat-grandmother Mary Scanlan. Timothy is holding Richard Scanlan, his son born in 1912. The man on the far right holding a sheep is my grandfather Joseph Scanlan.Based on the appearance of Richard Scanlan, I estimate the year to be 1912.

Thank you, Pat.

Thanks. That does look a little better. Unfortunately I do not have the original available to re-scan.

I would appreciate any attempt to enhance this old photo taken I estimate around 1905 in Minnesota.

Any enhancement of this will be greatly appreciated. This is an ancestor with his wife and children in about 1905 in Minnesota (united States). The man came with his siblings and parents from Ireland in 1886. His brother married his wife's sister.
