hello.
I know that your post was made a while ago but I've only just found it. I haven't got the information with me now but here's what I can remember;
I know the History of this family quite well. I am a descendant of Evan Jenkins and Martha. They had 8 children: Ellen(possibly Eleanor), Sarah, Thomas, David John, Margaret Jane, Mary, Emily Matilda and Ieuan Ajax.
Sarah was an un-married nurse.
The last five children were born at Llwynrhos which is a farm just outside Farmers, Pumpsaint. ( I don't know wheather you're local to the area or not.)
Emily Matilda married a Jeremiah Jones and had two children. (one of which still owns Llwynrhos)
Evan and Martha are both buried in a small graveyard within half a mile from Llwynrhos.
I have a lot of information on Martha Ajax's family aswell.

My great grandfathers name was Willie Griffiths, known as Will.
I dont know anything else about Phoebe. she's a real mistery.

heya,
im trying to find my great grandfathers mother. All I know about her is that she was named as Phoebe Griffiths on my great grandfathers birth certificate. He was born at ffynonwerfil, pentregat in 1914. I dont know wheather she was married at the time of his birth. From family stories though she did marry after my great granfathers birth. My great grandfathers father apparently died at sea due to an emergency opperation for appendicitis. I have no idea what his name was.
Can anyone suggest any way of finding Phoebe?
