Yes, this is the right family. I know that David Hunter was married in Glasgow, Scotland on 5 June 1902 to Annie Harvey, born 1877 in Mishant, Ayrshire. One of their children, Annie Hunter b. 15 March 1905 in Maryhill, Glasgow and died in Glasgow in 1997 was my grandmother.

I am interested in any connections with James Hunter and Rebecca Bates, married in Castlederg in 1879 and their descendants. Thanks.

Nina, thanks for the information you posted on the Graham family. This is great to have and I will update my information with what you have provided. Alexander Graham (son of Hugh Graham and Barbara McDermid) married Gertrude Olive Ashforth (The Ashforths ran a boarding house in Blackpool) in Flyde, Lancashire in 1918 and settled in Jamestown, Dunbartonshire. They had two children, Florence and Hugh Douglas. Alexander died in 1954 in Jamestown, Dunbartonshire and Gertrude Olive died in 1961 in Helensburgh, Dunbartonshire. Hugh Douglas married Margaret McIntosh in Glasgow in 1954 and had two children, Joy and Marlyn. Marlyn is my wife and we now live in Canada as does Hugh Douglas, Margaret, and Joy. I can send you the details of this line of Grahams if you wish.

My Roy family is from Glasgow with some Irish influence as well. Thanks again for the info.

Hi. I see there is mention in this series of messages regarding Hugh Graham and Barbara McDermid. I am interested in one of their children, Alexander Graham b. 1885. I'd be interested in more information on Hugh Graham and Barbara McDermid, their children and resulting families as well as any information on the ancestors of Hugh Graham. Alexander Graham is my wife's grandfather. Thanks.
