Hello Shane,

Thanks .
I forgot about searching the site.
Its interesting with one of the results which has a Mary Power married to a Loftus Walsh with a son born in 1807. If i could connect Mary with my Power's who where from Kinsealy/Portmarnock/Malahide/Swords area.
James Power married Catherine Warren 1866 in Baldoyle.
Mary could be an aunt of James.
James was killed in 1916 and buried in a plot owned by Loftus Walsh and its the connection between the two families i like to find, if any.

Dublin / Re: UPDATED - Members of the Irish Citizen Army 1916 - Names List

Can anyone help with finding any information on how my great great grandfather James Power was killed by a bullet during the 1916 rising.
I obtained his death cert today and now know he's interned in a grave owned by Loftus Walshe. This Loftus has not appeared before in my family search. I was informed by the nice friendly lady in Glasnevin that there are a number of other persons buried in a double plot owned by Loftus.
Was he connected with the rising and was my James Power a member of some army. At 70 years of age I doubt it.
His address was 8 Buckingham Place.

Looking for any information on Catherine O'Keeffe / Keeffe born about 1850.
Married 1876 to a John Donohoe in Dublin.
Its the the family of O'Keeffe / keeffe that i'm more interested in.

Update re below;

Catherine's fathers name was John O'Keeffe and was decesed in 1876
His occupation was steward, and Catherine's address was given as Lr Sackville Street.
It was stated on the 1901 census return that Catherine was born in Co Meath.

Is there anyone researching this family of Quilty. What i do know is, Julia nee King was born in Oranmore. Married to Patrick Quilty who is a RIC officer. The family then moved to Dublin in time for the 1911 census. I would also like to find any information about their son Patrick John who left Ireland in 1914 for a new life in Chicargo.

I can see that you have your ggrand fathers death cert, but i can't find him listed in the death index for that year. The nearest match is in 1944 and he was aged 67.
See it here http://www.rootschat.com/links/0945/
