Have you looked for her on the 1911 Irish census?  Was Molly her given name or a corruption of another?  (Eg) Margaret

http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/search/
I've only heard the name Molly. She didn't marry and died in Dublin aged about 32/33. .
I will look up 1911 census.
Thanks.

Who & when did she marry?  Does her marriage cert give a fathers name?

Has he now passed away?  If so that’s fine to give his name but if not we aren’t allowed to discuss living persons.
Yes indeed... already passed.
Tks

Thanks for info.
The drapery ( maybe menswear) was opposite what is now The Darnley lodge.

Daffy's does have a bit of a ring to it ok..

The barber was opposite side of the street to Faulkner.

Hi folks
In the 1950s/60s there was a barber on Connaught st.  Would anyone know who that man was by any chance.
Also In the 1970s there was a nightclub further up the street near the T junction.  Would anyone know what it was called.
On the main street there was a drapers shop called Fitzpatrick's but what was it called originally.
Thanks

Excellent..I think you have the right family..I have heard of a daughter who died in her teens.  If you have more info on the family that would be great.   When parents born / died etc..
Thanks

Hi folks..
Would anyone have any info on the Farrell family from Moygrehan..
Parents names were John and Bridget..
There were  five or six children. Sonny and Jack included. Daughters included May and Elizabeth.
Q. When did the parents die..
They were probably born 1870/80s.
Thanks for any info.

Tkx again for all the info..
It looks looks Rita Quinlivan  took  over as principal from Patrick McDonnell on his retirement.  Mrs Marmion  probably started teaching there in 1927 and then on the death of Rita in 1937 to over as principal.
It looks like we now need to find who was there before P. Mc Donnell .

I'm not looking for any teacher in particular at the moment..
It would be great if we could work our way back all the way to 1846..

I have to say a great response to my query.
Tkx
