Hello Andy Eddy
Good to see you back on line,we will just wait till you have 3 posts up and then i will send you a personal message.
I have been chasing details of Eliza Pascoe, and only last weeki got her birth certificate and her mothers name but can't find the marriage of her mother and William Pascoe---maybe you will know'
I am also very interested in the families of my father's siblings
By the way i have you listed in my family tree, but i don't go any further than you. My info came from The book Wellingtonia.
Best wishes     Lamwell

Hello Andy Eddy
Thank you for your reply
I was called Lambert(christian name )after your great grandfather Lambert Eddy who Married Marion,a sister of my father
I have been trying to fill in some of the missing links in the members of the family of Abraham hocking Wellington and Ejiza Paccoe
My father is William Pascoe Wellington
It would be nice if we could make contact via e mail as you probably have more information on our family.
We are not allowed to post an e mail address but maybe Krisse (our moderator ) could help as she has helped me in the past
In the mean time i will keep looking here
Best wishes   Lamwell

Hello Mort29 & Tati
Looking at the 1861 census, William Pascoe was a Widower, with Eliza 5
In the 1871 census he appears to be married to Amelia with Eliza now 15
seems to be the same family but with a new wife, and William still a bankers clerk
You have done very well, thank you
Best wishes

Hello Mort29, and Tati
I am just trying to recover from the dreaded Wog, and thought i would fill in time on the computer and rootschat, but my mind was not thinking correctly.
I said Eliza Pascoe married William Hocking------very wrong, it should be Abraham Hocking wellington. My father used to say Hocking, but the relatives name is Hockin.
It never ceases to amaze me how helpful people like you are in looking up info, thank you very much
I think you have the right marriage,Mort29
I hope my mistake didn't cause you too much trouble
Many thanks Lamwell

hello Althea
Looking at your last reply i saw you research Pascoe.
My Grand father Abraham Hocking Wellington married Eliza Pascoe in 1879 in Truro. Do you have any info on that part of history?
I liked the land of the long white cloud, i spent 18 months there 1955-6 on the main land -------North Island -----contentious subject.
