Yes, DBREE we do have a strict database here in BC.  I did get some prospects off of the 1911 Census, that I can pass onto my cousin.  Thanks again.

Thanks David, yes the database in Canada is very limited, with different years that a person can look up information on BMD.  I am looking at the 1921 census as we speak, so will see what I come up with.  Thanks again.

Thank you so much David, I will pass this onto my friend in Portugal, and she can order the marriage certificate.  Do you know if there is a site on here for the Canadian deaths.  As I think he died in Canada.

Thanks again.  Gail

Canada Lookup Request / John Robert Lewis Smith - Canadian

I am looking for information on John Robert Lewis Smith, born sometime between 1900 - 1920, in Canada, I think Vancouver BC, his Mother's name was Thurza,Thirza, not sure if it is the first or last name, he married in England to Cathleene Everett.  He was a member of the Canadian Seaforth Highlanders, and was a corporal.  He died in Canada as well.

Hi Sue:

I do have one other request if at all possible,

DODMAN, Frank Harold born 1884, would have come to Vancouver from London, 1908
DODMAN, Marie Louise born 1883,    "
SANDERS, William born 1844             "
SANDERS, Mary Ann born, 1849         "

There could be many more Dodman's and Sanders on the same voyage.

Thanks again for all.

Gail Kent (Dodman)

Thank you so very much, it has to be him, as he disappeared after the 1901 Census.

Thanks again, I haven't done very much on the family tree for a long time, but am getting back now that I have found
some new info.

Yes, we are on Saltspring Island, so we definitely are neighbours.

Thanks again.

Thank you so much Susan, you were so quick to reply, this information is most valuable and I can tell my Aunt of my findings.

Also I was wondering if you could look up a Herbert Kent born about 1877 came to Canada from Suffolk, England, married in 1907 in
Manitoba, so his crossing would be sometime between 1900 and 1907.

Thanks so much for all.

Hi there:  I am looking for my Grandmothers crossing from Bedfordshire to Canada settling in Vancouver, B.C.
MAUD(MAUDE) BUCKINGHAM (1884) left sometime after the Titanic, so would be late 1912 onward, with her infant son WILLIAM BUCKINGHAM,  born in NOV 1910, her husband HORACE BUCKINGHAM (1885) followed them shortly after.

Thank you for any info, or where I can look further.
