Ah, I'm an ejit. I've been so busy following the Mary Fox line in Derbyshire, I forgot that Bradfield comes under the Yorkshire parish records, under Fenney.
The name chops and changes. I have been trying to see if there is a link to known Derbyshire Finney/Fynney/Fenney.
Mary Fox's mother was Mary Pole from Park Hall, so quite a bit of information on both Fox/Pole side but the Fenney side....?

I am trying to find out more information on William Finney who married Mary Fox [FullwoodHall]
at Bradfield 13 July 1718.
Do you have these parish records and is there any further information about him?
I have lots on his descendants and lots on Mary Fox, but can't get any further back with him.

Hi Andrew,
I have several photographs of Barbara and I can get copies of photos of Walter and Barbara which were taken before he left for Canada, there is also a picture of him with his brother and father.
Walter went ahead to Canada with his father, mother and brother, Barbara and the children were to follow later, but he was, as you have read, killed.
I do not know where the Warner name came from, I know the family farmed in Droyslenden, Lancs but I have not followed his line much further. Would you like me to email the copies of photos rather than post them here?

Hello Yorkshiredale, we are related your father is my cousin. You went to visit my mother in K'boro.
I have a family tree on GenesReunited which you can have a look at if you are are with them. Would love to exchange information and see the photographs you have.
Francis Joseph Parkyn was born Frank Parkin at 15 Paradise Square, Sheffield on 28th February 1883 [b.cert]. His first wife was Emily Hoare [DOB 1890], they married 2nd August 1909 at St. Marys Church [RC] Bradford, he is recorded as Francis Joseph Parkin, living in Bradford. Emily died in childbirth.
Emily Hoare's family are painters and paperhangers in Bradford so I imagine he was working there [with them?] when he met her. If you know the child's name I would love to know, I have had conflicting information from Mum [a boy, Leonard] and from an Uncle [a girl?].
He later met and married Barbara Moore on 24th April 1915 in Halifax. On this certificate he is recorded as Francis Joseph Parkyn, living at Nydd Vale Terrace in Harrogate.
FJ's siblings were:

It was FJ who wanted to move to K'boro after he married Barbara Moore, who had four children Leonard [1905 - 1907] Sarah Emma [1907], Annie Beatrice [1909] and Jack Warner [1912 - 1944], their father Walter Warner Moore was killed working electric crane Tuesday May 12, 1914, Ontario Canada. FJ's parents were dead by this time but Frederick Wm & family came to visit, and FJ often visited his sisters in Cleethorps, tho' the family ties were not as close as the Parker side of the family.
Mum and I visited Sheffield while I was in England, we went to Paradise Sq and then to City Rd Cemetery to see the graves of Joseph, Jane and Frederick Fenney Parkin [all in one plot] and Wm Henry, Emma [wife], Stanley [son of Frederick Wm.] Henry Wm and Blanche [all in one plot]. I have photos which I can email. I have your email address, and will give it a try [Mum gave it to me knowing you too were investigating]

1891 Census listed as Frank Parkin born approx 1884 Sheffield, parents Wm Henry Parkin - master tailor and mother Emma and family - this fits with family knowledge.
1901 - ? not found
1911 - ? not found
1915 - Francis Joseph Parkyn [widower] married Barbara Moore [widow] in Halifax. These are my grandparents. By this time he is a house painter and decorator.
I have searched and searched and searched both census under Frank Parkin, Frank Parkyn, Francis Parkin, Francis Parkyn, Francis Joseph Parkin, Francis Joseph Parkyn, Joseph Parkin, Joseph Parkyn [he is always referred to as Joe by my grandmother].
This Frank Parkyn in prison is approx the right age, born Sheffield and breadmaker/baker - Frank Parkin's brother Frederick Wm. Parkin was a master baker and one other brother Arthur listed as baker with him, a slim connection.
Any assistance in searching and/or knowledge will be appreciated

This is a big challenge if anyone is able to do it. Wanting to find out more information about a prisoner in Hull listed in the 1901 census.
Name: Frank Parkyn
Born: Sheffield
Occupation: baker
Age: 17[? - memory just gone blank]
I want to confirm or reject if this is my Grandfather so any information gathered would be great, like to know what he is in for but more to the point any reference to any family members i.e., parents, home address etc that could be a link.
I don't know anything about why he is in Hull, what he did to be put in prison or when he did the deed.
This would require looking through quite a lot of records. so here is me being optomistic
