Thanks again,i had come to a stand still with this side, now i am finding more info. The burial records for the younger George seems to match jr because he was born at Gleadless and the rest of the Jones lived around that area most of there lives.George jnr dates were 1786-1851 and married Ann,they had 5 children Henry,David,William,Ellen and Ann.
I will have to ask my Dad if he remembers anything about Upperthorpe area, may be my mum would remember because her own father was born in that area.
Thank again if you have anymore info it will be gratefully received

the Harrisons i am looking for Hannah Simpson nee Harrison born 1854 she married William Simpson ,they lived at Duke street in 1881 Leek and Lowe.I have info on the Harrison side of the Family, because i have the family bible,it show the Harrison side but not what happened to hannah's family,i know two sons died in first world war surviving sons were William and Percy.           I am trying to find out how the Goldstraws are related one of her daughters must have married one and had a son H Goldstraw.
Has my father in law is getting on it would be nice to find out if there is a possiblity of some family on his fathers side, have found plenty on his mothers.
