Hi, Ive been researching the Maltman family for several years and wonder if I can be any help with further info. My ancester was Alexander Maltman, son of James Maltman and Margaret Bell. All of Kirkcudbright area.

Eddie, I have been researching the Maltmans for some time.  I am decended from Alexander Maltman.   His daughter Wilhelmina is my 2x greatgrandmother.  Robert, William and Alexander were brothers. They had a sister Susan, no info on her and also I think a sister Jane who married a Thomas Gordon in Kirkcudnright.  I have to confirm her details and I'm a bit stuck with her after 1861.    Pogue
