Sorry for the delay, I was getting the marriage certificate for Michael Mcgrory and Sarah Mckeena, which I now have...unfortunetly it does not show a connection between our families.
Michael McGrory married Sarah McKenna 22 May 1884 - Michael's father was a Edward Mcgrory.
Although this doesn't show a connection, I won't be surprised if there was a connection - maybe a generation before this, as the family names are very consistent- Edward, Michael, Patrick, Mary, James, - all are family namesin common, but then again I suppose these were common names at the time. Also the fact that both families have a history of joining the Army, well the search continues, do let me know if you find out any further information
ps, i'm sure you've seen this but just in case you haven't , I'm sure that this would be your Bridget Collins...
