Hey Stewart,
If you're the only Stewart Potter in the family then until now you've just been a name in my family history records.  Would I be right in thinking you belong to George and Annie?  Or are you a later generation Stewart? My Nana was Molly and I live in Australia.  Would love to hear back from you and am happy to share all the Potter family history stuff that I have.
My email is *
cheers
Janie

Hi Caroline,
George Potter is the brother of my great grandfather James Potter.  James was born in Port Glasgow 1876 but it seems the four others were born in Ireland.  I have the birth records for Henrietta and Mary Ann - haven't yet found George's or Harriett's.  Would love to keep in touch with you and see just where you fit in in the family tree.  I have photos of George when he was young........he married Maggie Purdie yes?
looking forward to hearing from you
my email address is (*) and I live in Melbourne Australia

cheerio,
Janie

Hi Lodger,
I'm just new to this site and have been reading all the messages and was wondering if you would mind looking up a burial for me please.  My gg grandmother's name was Margaret Mitchell (ms Paterson), wife of William Mitchell.  The family were living in Cambusnethan in 1851 but I haven't yet been able to locate her death/burial records.
Many thanks for your time
Janie
