Staffordshire Lookup Requests / Re: John Byrne - 'Commitment for penalty and costs'
« on: Tuesday 14 October 25 11:34 BST (UK)  »
I found an article on a relative who committed a crime and could  pay a fine or be locked up.I found walsall archives had booklet with the court cases for the magistrates cases.he did n't pay up and was locked up for a period of time. The commence was committed in walsall. So it could be in a local archive. There's hardly anything entered though. Also i have seen some collections on i think ancestry.

look on the find a grave site there are 2. They are under photos but think is only section maps. . I was told one side is non conformist and the is c of e.My relative was c of e and was on the right side travelling up from west bromwich. The left hand side looked older to me.There's quite a few graves on the site already. Microfisches with burials are at sandwell archives in smethwick.www.findagrave.com.Think its sandwell crem which keeps the details and can give you plot details etc on a relative and will probably provide a map of the section.

Someone has requested pictures of Some Callear graves in west bromwich all saints and there was a couple of requests for Heath Lane cemetery,it may be worth keeping your eye open for them being fullfilled.Think someone has claimed the requests. May be some info may come up which helps. When some claims the request it is that they think they can do it within 14 days.

If it is willenhall then look up willenhallhistory.co.uk/society/wood street, There was a piece about wood street cemetery which opened to burials in 1849 when there was a lot of cholera victims.Bought by the methodists later, union street used previously,There was an area known as doctors piece,Think there was a memorial to cholera victims in wood street or one of the cems,I remember someone from willenhall telling me.

think there is some bilston cem deaths on freereg. On findagrave there is a swan bank wesleyan but no entries and bilston cem has some entries. On genuki it gives a list of churches and parishes in a county. If you just put genuki in a search engine you should find it. It also gives years for the church registers, select county and then parish.
