 Thank you for this. I didn't see it before. Yes, I got Marjorie's husband's name wrong. The Eric I mentioned married Earl Tindall's daughter. I will message you privately as these people may still be living. Thank you for your research.

I don't think I replied to your question- sorry. Yes, the child born in 1945 is still living, hence why I have been discreet. I have asked if replies to my personal email could be used to give more information.

Thank you for all the info on the Tindalls. I understand you can't put things on the thread about possibly living persons but could information be sent to my email? The obits have been very informative but, as always, leave several unanswered questions about who was who in their families.

This is really good, thank you. We are gradually finding out more and more about this family. I have a photo of Earle in England in 1945/1946 so guess he was here for a couple of years at least. Now I know he was on active service, I’ll see what records we have here in England that might reveal more.
So grateful for your help 😊 HH

Hello. I haven't found a record, that's the trouble, but we know he fathered a child in England who was born in February 1945. Do you know if there are any searchable military lists where I could look? HH

Thank you. I had a feeling that might be the case. It’s an unusual name so it’s most likely to be her.
