Hi,

I am looking for someone called Lepa Samatua, who I think is of Samoan origin, but lived for some time in her teens on Penrhyn island (also called Tongareva, Mangarongaro, Hararanga, and Te Pitaka).   She and her family then moved to Tahiti in July 1957 and that's when contact was lost.  I'd be very grateful if anyone can help.

Hello,
The person I'm looking for is of Tahitian origin, a lady by the name of Lipa Samatua.  If still alive, she'd be in her seventies now.  All I know is that her father was a policeman, they lived on Penrhyn (Christmas Island) for sometime but moved back to Tahiti in 1957.

I can't find any records of anyone by the name of Samatua on Tahiti, but I don't really know where to start and I was hoping someone could help.

I'd be very grateful if anyone can help.   Thanks in advance.
