Hello,  Could you please help

I am looking for a death for Emma Dixon, born in abt 1844 Monks Bretton, lived around there husband died in registration district of barnsley in 1905 i think,  Would she have died also under Barnsley?  The only one i can find is in 1914, but i cannot find her anywhere in the 1911 census ???.

I am going round in circles, looking for a death before 1911 or looking for her on 1911
, any help would be very much appreciated.

Thanks Charz

Thank you nanny jan and annette7,

It is a good idea to get the marriage certficate, and that Harriet Fisher definitely looks like a possible candidate. :)

Hello

It;s a long time since I've been here!   About 4 years ago i started my family tree, but then left it for a couple of years, so i am now going over everything i had previously done as more records have appeared.

Now i have a Harriet/Harriot Fisher born 1816 Pilley, tankersley (she has put this on all the census records) She married Joseph Leech in 1837 and everything up from that i know, but i am having trouble finding a birth record, on my tree i had her father as David Fisher and mother as Nancy, but i have no idea where i got this info as i cannot find anything to confirm it.  ???

can anyone please help, i am pulling my hair out    ::)

Thank you in advance i appreciate any help or advice

Hi Elizabeth

Thanks for the reply, but   :-X  William was a coal miner on the 1841 census and the birth parish records of his children,  will have to keep hunting.   :(

Yorkshire (West Riding) / Where's Joseph Leech born?
« on: Sunday 09 December 12 12:07 GMT (UK)  »
Hi all   ;D

I am on the hunt for Joseph Leech parish record, but am a bit confused on where he was actually born

He married in 1837 to Harriot Fisher  Reg District: Ecclesfield

In 1841 it says he was born abt 1818 in Yorkshire - living in Civil Parish  - Silkstone,  Reg District - Wortley

In 1851 he was born abt 1815 Wortley, now living Civil Parish -  Wombwell,  Reg District  - Barnsley

In 1861 born abt 1815 Unchllieffe,  now living Civil Parish - Wombwell,   Reg District - Barnsley

In 1871 born about 1815 Hunchill, Penistone, now living Civil Parish - Wombwell, Reg District - Barns;ey

in 1881 born abt 1815 Thiugoland, living Civil Parish - Darfield, Reg District Barnsley.

In 1891 born about 1814 Thurgoland, living Civil Parish  -Ardsley,  Reg District - Barnsley

How can one person change his place of birth on every census, are these places all near each other?  what Parish District is he likely to be born?

Any help appreciated  :)
